PHASE 3
In Phase 3, you can increase your caloric intake to a normal level. You will  still want to avoid sugar and starch.

Check your weight daily. Your goal during Phase 3 is to help your body to stabilize at the new weight that you achieved in Phase 2. Try not to go over or under (remember: you're trying to stabilize, not continue losing) by more than 2 pounds. If you weigh in at 2 pounds (or more) over your P2 (Phase 2) ending weight, make that day a Steak Day. That should get your weight back down. Be sure to do it ON the day that you weight in at 2 pounds over.
