PHASE 2

START DROPS.
Part 1: Loading
For your first 2 days on hCG, you will be gorging on as much fatty food as you can. This fatty food will help to build up your normal fat stores so that you won't feel so hungry once you start the low-calorie portion.What do you eat on the loading days? It might look like this:

  • Breakfast     eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns & chocolate milk 
  • Snack           Greek yogurt with protein
  • Lunch           hamburger w/cheese (skip the bun), mashed potatoes 
  • Snack           guacamole & chips, glass of wine
  • Snack           bread dipped in olive oil or with peanut butter & jelly
  • Dinner          18-oz steak, baked potato, beer
  • Snack           loaded nachos, chocolate milk
  • Snack           handful of almonds, sliced cheese


It won't be easy but eat as much fatty food as you can fit in. You will feel like you're eating all day long and that's okay. As long as you are eating high fat foods (don't focus on sugar), then you are gorging correctly.


Part 2: Losing
On your 3rd day on hCG, you begin the Very Low-Calorie Diet (VLCD) portion. For best results, follow Dr. Simeons' original protocol closely. You may choose to vary some of the food items but it may cause you to lose less weight. Continue Phase 2 for at least 21 days (including binge days) and as long as you wish to continue, or until you reach 34 pounds lost.  The original protocol suggests that the body becomes immune to the injected hCG after 40 days. This does not apply to the homeopathic drops and is rumored to not be true with the shots as well. You may plan to continue the drops as long as you'd like or to 34 pounds lost.

STOP DROPS. Continue the VLCD 48-72 hours longer. If you start to feel extremely hungry, you may stop.
